What are y'alls thoughts on the new, American, airport security methods? *Talking about the full body screening and pat downs*

Approve of them? Against them? Indifferent? Or what?

They can now see if you have weed or crack shoved up your ass. And they can see a better side of nature's feminin body :sohappy: .

If I have to go through it, I'm just gonna pretend I'm gay and ask for a female to pat me down. If she's ugly, i'll just say she turned me straight. If things get weird, I'll just pull out the bomb hidden in my ass.

Jk, I plan to never fly again unless ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. I'll just road trip it like the good ole days.

isn't there some talk about muslim women being exempted from scanning for religious reasons? or are they already being excused, but are still subjected to the pat downs?

the people who whine about full body scans invading their privacy are the same people who will accuse obama of not doing enough when a plane blows up midflight from a bomb.

Completely indifferent. I really don't see the big deal. All they see is a gray contour of the body - no face, no details. As for the pat-downs...whatever. They already made it same-sex just to put the Amish people at ease.

As long as they don't carry women to a room full of male inspectors to do a strip search, I really could care less. (That's when I know it's time for me to quit my job and join the TSA)

Why would Amish people be at the airport..

Do I really have to explain myself? I didn't mean it literally. Let's leave it at that.

Are the pat-downs mandatory ? or is it only needed if you decline the screener?

Basically, if you are selected, you need either the xray or the patdown. If you refuse, you get fined $10,000 and possible jail time since refusal of both is a sign that you are hiding something.

This is why I'm just not going to bother with airports unless absolutely necessary.

The security officer finished the pat-down, tested the gloves for any trace of explosives and then, Sawyer said, “He told me I could go. They never apologized. They never offered to help. They acted like they hadn’t seen what happened. But I know they saw it because I had a wet mark.”

Humiliated, upset and wet, Sawyer said he had to walk through the airport soaked in urine, board his plane and wait until after takeoff before he could clean up
That's Just sick and a violation of rights.. Seriously

The terrorists are winning seeing since they got americans (mainly) spooked to the point of humiliating their fellow men.

On a side note..I wonder how muslims will take to this....especially their women....this can't be good....lol.

TSA Forces Woman to Cut Off Her Nipple Rings With Pliers (Video)
-> NSFW of course, because of tits.

There's also this mentioned:

This video shows one woman slammed to the floor for arguing with a TSA agent. Another 71 year-old man with a knee implant describes how TSA pulled down his pants. A 16 year-old girl with a prosthetic leg has her pants removed.

http://gatewaypundit.rightnetwork.com/2 ... ers-video/

If you watch the whole video they show the scans at the end - very revealing. They had to censor the guy's penis because the scans are so detailed.

And these anal morons are supposed to protect us right?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I was under the impression that the minimum requirement for these assholes is to, at least, have some form of common sense to perform their job.

I've been stopped more times than I'd like to admit during my travels for a ton of different reasons but nothing like what happened to those people. I did encounter a couple of real jackasses but damn...

This is the kind of shit you would expect from some ignorant, uneducated, inbred piece of shit from the projects or a trailer park -- not someone in charge of airline security.

As a frequent flyer, this disgusts me. I do cross continent trips regularly and already i try to avoid flying through the US if possible, and now with this.. wow

Sure, im not going to say "FREE THE PEOPLE" and then expect nothing to go wrong, we need security in this day and age, but we would be fools to sacrifice the security and humanity of passengers to achieve this goal.

Btw here is something interesting:

Seems like a bad idea... they would just strip search you... Can't afford another crotch bomber under those hands/leaves.

I know, just thought it was interesting.

Btw, i jumped on the TSA website and blog, much to the discontent of my ip being permanently stored on the Homeland Security database, to see if anywhere they mention what authority TSA agents actually had (i.e can they really legally rip up your boarding pass) and what would happen if you opt out of both the ATI and extreme pat-down....

but there is no mention, anywhere that i could find. At all.
