Hi guys,

I'm about to buy a new Game PC. Just to let you know, im a damn noob in computers, i know only a little bit about them.

So can anyone help me what kind of processor, graphic card, memory ect to get at least.

I do want a fast PC, a real gaming pc. My budget is about €500 to €750 for the desktop only . (already have the rest)

Budget: AMD Athlon x4 Series / Intel i3/Intel i5 (6XX)
Midrange: AMD Phenom x4 Series (9X5-9X5)/ Intel i5 (750-760)
Enthusiast: AMD Phenom x6 Series / Intel i7 / Intel i9



Budget: NVIDIA GTS 450 / ATI 5770
Midrange: GTX 460 / ATI 5850
Entusiast: GTX 470 / ATI 6870

or any of the cards near the same price range will work for the ones I listed


Memory: What ever is DDR3 and is supported by the motherboard.

I just had a new pc assembled myself.

Used the following parts:

Case : Recom PowerStation EVO Black
PSU : Cooler Master Silent Pro M700 700 Watt, 20+24 Pins
Processor : Intel Core I5 760 2.80 GHz, Quad Core
MotherBoard: GigaByte GA-P55A-UD3
Memmory : Kingston 4 GB, 1333 MHz, Kit Of 2
Video Card : Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 Vapor-X 1024 MB (for a 19" monitor)

Along with some processor coolers / fans // harddrive // dvd writer.

Price : 640 euros excluding tax, makes it 761 euros over here, including tax (Excluding windows).

i was going based off of price ranges. the GTX 460 was around $200ish and the GTX 470 was around $300.

Budget was around $100
Midrange was around $200
Enthusiast was $300+
