So lately ive been confronted by family/friends that i like weird smells lol
i idk why but i love the smell of these things
-New shoes(inside of em)
-Drying construction paint
-New mouse pads( the bottom rubberish part)


what are some smells you like but think are weird?

i dont like any of the above.. but gasoline and i know its wrong

deff gasoline and tide.

Dried paint, like in newly renovated houses. It's so weird, in my friend's newly renovated basement, there is just an amazing 'new' smell and it's embarrassing when I keep bringing it up at his house hahaha.

I like all of the those, gasoline, kerosene, and sometimes skunk

New car smell.
Fresh paint smell.
Construction site smell.
Lumber smell (lowes, home depot, etc).
New shoes smell.
Etc...

you know gasoline if you smell it to much its very wrong ?

New laptop smell.

The smell of burning pine wood

most hydrocarbons refined from crude oil and that awesome smell when you walk into a room that hasn't been aerated in a long time, think its called musk or must or something like that

Freshly sawn (recently lopped and cut in a sawmill) pine wood. It has this sickly sweet smell, it's amazing. One of the perks to working in a sawmill, I suppose.

Electrical Tape. I think it's because it reminds me of those inflatable whales and dolphins you got from Marineland; my papa always got me one when he would take me as a kid. It's a little weird but a nice memory none-the-less.

I also like the smell of petroleum jelly and blood but I don't have an explanation for those.

New carpet smell

seriously they could do Man air fresheners scents like petrol, burning rubber, paint etc real manly smells id buy them

anyone got a ear gauges?

Fresh cut grass with the smell of gas from the lawn mower, thats as weird as I get

kidding aside I've never really gotten that close to a lot of blood that I can smell it

Although I don't smoke, I love the smell of cigarettes when it's allover my cloths.

i like girl's smell. oh yeah.

Don't know why, but I like the smell of cement, dirt, and chlorine

- Ice (yeah, can't explain it really..)
- The air after a good rain.
- new shoes
- Straw (like, the dried grain plants)

In Canada to graduate highschool you need to do 48 hours of community service. I did mine at a hospital (same one where I was born! Not that you care ) so I was around a considerable amount of blood from time to time. It smells like it would taste...very salty and resembling iron, which makes sense, it's just a very distinct and enchanting smell. Coincidentally rope does have a distinct and somewhat pleasing smell as well it reminds me of phys-ed.

blood dont really smell but i do like the taste of it weirdly enough. i remember at school i took a tenis racket to the face smashed one to my teeth to bits and split my lip blood all around my mouth and down my top...i loved the taste of it and dispite the mess didnt hurt...til i tried to eat something solid my god that stung trying to eat a baguette
