You got your girlfriend of many years hanging off your arm from a cliff and your mother on the other arm. You can't save both and one must be sacrificed. Which is it?

BTW I didn't even answer.
I'd save the girl.
Reasons:
1) Mom is like a whale, girlfriend weighs nothing.
2) Helloo, inheritance...
3) The girl is sex, mom is mehh~
