Sometimes you get really excited to do something, then when you tell a friend about it, he kills all your enthusiasm with something like "What a stupid idea, hell no you gonna fail don't do that"
For me, whenever I tell my family about any new job interview, they never say something cheerful, all I get is "this job is not for you don't go to embarrass yourself" things like that, in fact this can affect me a lot.
how do you deal with negative people like this?

I don't let the opinions of others like that effect me. You have to realize that they could be(probably are) wrong, and you need to build on your self confidence and slowly sway from relying on others opinions.

well, just dont say anything to these people until you have went to the interview or followed through on your idea. that way you dont deal with them at all.

My mom is like that. When she starts in, I just say "what a ray of sunshine you are today". She generally gets the hint and shuts up. But the easiest way is just don't talk about it with them.

Hmm... thinking about it again, sometimes your ideas might really be stupid. Someone opposing it means that you might want to reevaluate your options.
I have a cousin who made a ton of bad decisions in the past year. I mean, most of the guy's decision was opposed by other family members, including myself, but he still went with them. Now he's in a pretty shitty position and he can't blame anyone for it.
