K well i just knew about this free service because I was having annoying errors wich almost drove me crazy trying to fix. Actually inside my ignorance i really don't know much about DNS, it's not a subject i've been into. So i stumbled upon this solution, and I must say it worked like a charm, not only that, things are really faster now. But doing some research i read on several blogs that this particular service has some fishy intentions which as i said above didn't understand at all, so what do you think? do you know this service? What's so bad about it?
tl;dr: OpenDNS, to have or not to have?

DNS translates every day website names into their corresponding IP adresses. EG google.com which you enter in your browser, is then translated to it's IP by the DNS. Open DNS is very useful. It's used by IT professionals every day for all kinds of random testing etc.
Personally, I just use google's new DNS. There have been privacy comments as well tho but you get that all the time. So I can't really answer your question in terms of privacy.
google's DNS is proven to be much faster though.
It's the easiest 2 ips ever
primary 8.8.8.8
secondary 8.8.4.4

That looks like a static IP to me

I doubt that it's dynamic and thus coincidence
