(cheap) Graphics card

Well i bought FIFA 11 and found out that my crappy intel integrated graphics card can't play it
So i need to find a cheap card that can play games that need 3.0 vertex/pixel shaders, 256mb + ram thingy, and hardware t&l
Well unfortunately i dont understand the "specifications" part of each graphics card <,<.
I found two, i would rather have the first one since i wouldn't have to wait/pay for shipping (microcenter right near my house)
http://www.microcenter.com/single_produ ... id=0345773http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814125336Will these cards work for games like fifa and maybe prototype etc (2007 and newer games)?
and which is the better one
Also my computer is a inspiron 530S slim, if that matters.
PS; i need a cheap card because i need to buy track shoes aswell and my parents will only buy me one or the other -_-. +its really only for fifa 11

Those cards are shitty too, wont play it either I don't believe. Try getting a Nvidia 6800 gt or a 7800 gt, that should do while being cheap, though make sure ur pc has a 6-pin and make sure the video card is PCI-E not AGP
hmm seems like ur a tough situation, I saw ur PSU wattage...250!?? wow that sux bro
I think the ATI X1650 Pro might be a better solution

Gaige, the minimum requirement for FIFA 2011 is a NVIDIA GeForce 6800 or greater. It doesnt make sense when you say a 9500 GT wouldn't run this game?
@Unbeatable devil, the 9500 GT will play this game definitely, maybe on on full or high settings, but it will play it. The 8400 GS you chose, is actually meant to be a Home Theater PC video card, not for gaming. Just get the 9500 GT. But you may have problems with your PSU.

i couldn't find ati x1650 at amazon/newegg/microcenter :\
Found some others,
http://www.microcenter.com/single_produ ... id=0345523 (this is a video game card right?)
http://www.microcenter.com/single_produ ... id=0345520http://www.microcenter.com/single_produ ... id=0331370I just need a card w/ 3.0 shader models and 256mb+, which seems to be the minimum requirements for 2007+ games (fifa 10 runs on my computer fine though <,<)

@renegadebow
I don't think you understand the concept of todays video cards, I made this mistake too a long time ago
Even though the number 9500 is higher than the 6800 DOES NOT MEAN IT's BETTER
For Nvidia from the 6800-9800, these series of (X800) cards are the top of that line)
so the 9500 may have shader model 4.0 or the latest opengl, it doesnt matter.
I will bold where each one wins
Nvidia 6800
Nvidia 9500 gt

I never said either were better than the other, I simply was stating that the 9500 GT could play Fifa 2011, which you said it could not. I do understand the concept that its not just the number, its also the tech specs.
Those cards are shitty too, wont play it either I don't believe
I was objecting to that, in my post did I never say which one is better.

the minimum is a 6800 (shader model 3.0 I assume) but IF they are saying the 6800 or better for the performance then the 9500 gt would NOT be good enough to run it, as the 6800 is better

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yv5dA1sIvQkThat person seems to be playing it fine, and his specs include the 9500 GT
Or him
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMXONvwt ... re=relatedNVIDIA GeForce 6800 or better
I assume there going by plain numbers as in, better according to them would be 6800 model number +

and then again, I think both video requires 350W psu? he only has a 250w (if he didnt change it), I know it would run on a 250w, but when loaded it could freeze on him, maybe, maybe not

When looking for a Graphics card that can play most games on even medium. Plan on spending $100. No less. Then you will get a decent card. Otherwise, you'll need an upgrade in a year.

Well i only really play fifa on my computer, and they usually have really low requirements. i am going to buy a PS3 soon anyways, so instead of buying an expensive graphics card (+ i would have to upgrade my ram, processor etc) why not just pay a little more and get a ps3 and be set for the next 3/4 years lol.

The one the card fits in to. Look at the pins on the card and match up the gaps with the slot on the mobo.
