[LOCK IT]Help! Skype Broke?

For some reason Skype broke on me a few hours ago.
I started it up and it updated something and now it wont load at all anymore. my sister doesn't seem to have this problem at all. both of us use w7.
I've tried reinstalling, but it doesn't do much. I've tried a stable version and a beta version. I suppose I might try some older version as well.
When I start the program I can see it for a few seconds in task manager, but then it jsut disappears again. it doesn't seem to at all appear in services.
so anyone know how to fix this?
