in that case I'd break the dvd in half, sell them to gamestop legally (separately) and then have them glue it together :sohappy:

He means every part of the game is copyrighted, so you cant sell any of it.

Hmmm well you can technically give it to someone as a gift and they give you some money, which coincidentally matches the resell value of the game, for no fucking reason at all.

Or video game nerds can finally earn the right to be illegal underground dealers. badass 8)

if it happens then the rate of pirating games will probably increase even for consoles. not many people are willing to play full price for a game.

if anything companies will see a decrease in profit.

This. I am not paying $60 for Starcraft II when I can get it later for $40 or even cheaper if it's used.

There haven't been many "new" ideas in videogaming for awhile.

Too bad Starcraft II uses a key that's locked to a battle.net account after being used????

I would support this if it meant bringing down the retail price of games.

I would pay $35-$40 for a new game's license.

If that's the case, how do trade in's work? Although I don't do it myself, a lot of video game stores around my area let you trade in video games for money and they resell these games at a profit. Will that be deemed as illegal as well? -shrugs-

I don't care as long as I can play singleplayer or LAN games. F*k battle.net.

Then I guess they don't get my money, or I just buy it for singleplayer :)

aren't all game shops selling used games now? all the ones here it's a trade in old games, get new ones with discount...

or how about, i trade game and you trade $20 gift card... no cash trading involved so it's "legal" :D

stop bieng a jew bag and buy the game, $20 isnt that much of a difference -_- or even 30 >_>

$60 for few hours of campaign fun and multiplayer?

I bought AC2 for $40 & MW2 $35 both new. both of these games I wouldn't of bought at their full price. people want to feel like their getting a deal not ripped off then regret it later down the road.

dumb CEO's need to get off their asses and realize selling games higher and suing people isn't the only way to make money.
