Ok so it's about that time were most of us have started our school year.

I've got some difficult classes and I can't re read a whole chapter everytime I have HW.
I've learned that there are alot of YouTube videos that provide some really good information.
It's helped me with chemistry English an it's helped me understand how to use logarithms and your basics precalc stuff.

Does anyone else use YouTube for school work?

one of my teachers shows clips from youtube often, unfortunately its usually glen beck or another host on fox news so you can debate whether its really educational or not.

I don't remember youtube being that helpful in high school, unless I wanted to learn to crip walk. :sohappy: In college I didn't even bother with youtube unless it was for a project.

I have some teachers that don't exactly teach, so I use Khan Academy sometimes which is very helpful.

My old Algebra 1 teacher used to use Youtube vids in class cause he sucked at teaching. My new geometry teacher sucks even more, unfortunately he doesn't know it yet -_-

Not YouTube but sometime I can get answers for my Chem or Bio homework from Google or Yahoo Answers. I swear, sometime it seems like whoever asked the question on Yahoo was doing the exact same assignment as me. :)

If I need help understanding a particular programming concept I will turn to youtube sometimes. Some people are really good at explaining and sometimes my professors are really bad. Plus, Stanford and a few other colleges post comp sci lectures online.. the entire course. Pretty awesome.

Reading programming books sucks. Watching someone code, much easier.

Sometime, explaining with videos/images is much more faster and effective than thousands of words just to show the same thing.
