Recomend me a Cooling base!

Sup guys, i recently got a new HP laptop. It's specs are really good for it's price. Core i5 @ 2.40ghz, 4gb ram, 500gb hd, blu-ray reader but.. the damn graphs are Intel HD graphics
Couldn't help myself since my dad bought it for my college

.
Anyways, what i'm trying to explain is when i play a game that requires regular graph memory, the game runs smooth but what worries me is the heating from the left side of my laptop (where the fan is located). The heat reach around 80C and that's pretty high. Also makes a noisy fan-type sound which only appears when i play a game.
Will i harm my laptop if i keep playing games?
Should i stop forcing the intel graphics from running in order to last-long my laptop?
I mean, if i haven't enough gfx memory, the game wouldn't run smooth but it does yet i think im forcing the graphics to do it.

Not a problem, laptops are designed with high heat tolerances.

Not very abnormal. That's on-board graphics meaning not only games will cause your CPU load to generate a lot of heat. You should be fine.

WTF does this mean????
You can't 'stop forcing the intel graphics'. If you were to 'stop forcing the intel graphics,' you wouldn't have any graphics at all. You would have a blank screen.

@Goseki hi mate, thanks for the help. That vacuum thing is EXACTLY the cooling type i need, since the only output fan from my laptop is on the left side.

HP Laptops are well-known for their overheating issues. I've had my HP laptop for a while now and I usually get heat-related problems during the summer but almost never during the other 3 seasons. That is if you're not in an air-conditioned area.
As for laptop heaters, they're pretty much all the same IMO. Rocketfish or Belkin would do the trick; or a wooden frame. Equally worthless.

read somewhere the laptop fan coolers dont do much for cooling laptop :S only a few degrees. If your laptop is over heating those few degrees wont do much.

This. I have a Cooler Master laptop cooler for when I play games, but I don't really see much of a difference. The bottom of the laptop isn't scalding so I guess it helps, but half the time I forget to turn it on so...

Liquid nitrogen works much better.

Ok, here's the issue. No matter what kind of games you try to run on an integrated Intel GPU (what you have) it is going to get hot. Really HOT. The thing is, your CPU and integrated GPU are going to work at maximum capacity to provide the best experience. The Intel GPU (which ever it is, doesn't really matter since they all pale in comparison to dedicated GPUs) is going to start first at maximum capacity. Once it recognizes that it needs more processing power it will call on spare cpu cycles to make up for what it lacks. Luckily for you, the i5 in your machine has hyper-threading (two physical cores and two imaginary cores). Of course, said program needs to support hyper-threading in order for this to work properly. In the end, your CPU and Intel GPU are going to work like hell to push out as many frames as possible. That results in a shit ton of heat.
Now for the good news! Should your laptop get too hot, it will most likely blue screen before it causes any permanent physical damage (I'm not quite sure why it doesn't just say "Hey a-hole, go get a life while I cool down for a while!!", oh well). Should this happen, let your laptop cool down for at least an hour, go out, get a bite to eat, read the paper and you should be good to go.
Make sure the vent(s) are clear of any dust or debris, keep your laptop elevated and the vent(s) facing an open area (not up against a wall, for instance).
tl;dr
This website explains everything rather well.

@Deadsolid I really appreciate your time. I'll take carefully your advice. I knew it would harm it in some way. Thanks.

I've had my laptop for little more than a year, I do alot of gaming on it and it has alot of overheating problems... I can't play any game without the computer crashing in like 30 minutes. When it was under warranty it supposedly "got fixed" and for like three weeks it was ok lol but then it started overheating again...
So yeah waste of 500€ and I'll never buy a laptop for gaming ever again

Lol, Ice means watter, and water for my laptop is not good.
Also, i've been trying to put it close to my air conditioner, and works like a charm.

Yeah I know that was a stupid buy

I just wish back then someone told me: "BUYING THIS LAPTOP IS THROWING 500€ AWAY." lol
I managed to put some money together and buy an awesome desktop so it's all good now... I just use the laptop to watch shows and anime

You either got something defective..something shitty, or don't know that you shouldn't put your laptop on your bed and play games. I have a laptop with a upper middle tier gfx card in it and I play sc2 on it. Never have any problems ever. Play crysis occasionally on it too..

doesn't apply for me. I just asked a simple question, not whining about my overheating issue. I just taking some action to preventing it. It's not like i wanted to buy a gaming laptop.
