Need some advice...

Sup guys,

I got an oppertunity the other day, which I think is pretty neat. But still costs me some money so... here I go.

I can buy a whole new desktop PC from some guy for about 450 euros. At the moment I don't have a desktop just a laptop for school en at home. The laptop is fine and can play crysis at high resolutions so no problems with this. But I thought maybe a desktop is fun/handy too.

The desktop is a:

-6GB DDR3 RAM memory
-1.5 TB HDD
-ATI RADEON HD4850 ( GDDR3 with cooling )
-AMD PHENOM II X 4 Quad core 2600 Mhz 910 processor

Also got a:

-ACER P221W 22" monitor
-Logitech 5.1 surround sound set with subwoofer
-Logitech headset with mic
-logitech g5 gaming mouse
-logitech g15 gaming keyboard with LED light and USB ports

This all for just 450 euro, only problem is I have to drive 160km to get it because the dude lives in belgium and I live in Holland :P

It's just that I dont know if I should either spend 450 euro and sell my xbox360 cuz I also just bought a PS3, and buy the pc, or just save my money and buy nothing with it.
I don't even know if I will even play/be that much on that PC, it will probaly be used to download alot and store stuff. Also to game on it. But I do not have that much time on my hands lately so :S

If you are into computer gaming or want to get into it, that's not a bad deal.

Well as I said I have a laptop that I bought for school which can also play crysis on high so. Only difference is that the desktop is on a table and the laptop on my lap.

In that case it's all about if you have the money to spend, you wanna take a trip, and if you want a bigger screen with some extra room to store stuff. Also having two computer is really nice. If I F up my desktop doing something stupid, I can always sit down with my laptop in front of it as I cry trying to figure out how to get it to work again.

It's 450 euros.

The desktop is a:

-6GB DDR3 RAM memory
-1.5 TB HDD
-ATI RADEON HD4850 ( GDDR3 with cooling )
-AMD PHENOM II X 4 Quad core 2600 Mhz 910 processor

Also got a:

-ACER P221W 22" monitor
-Logitech 5.1 surround sound set with subwoofer
-Logitech headset with mic
-logitech g5 gaming mouse
-logitech g15 gaming keyboard with LED light and USB ports

Just a POS computer with these accessories goes for more than 450. If it's running a Quad and an HD4850 the Mobo and powersupply can't be too horrible at that. Other stuff isn't really a big deal.

I call fake, all that stuff for 450? It's either broken or stolen probably.

What has that to do with it? That won't give him more money. I don't believe you can get all that stuff for 450 euro, then again I have no idea about computer parts but it sounds way too cheap. It's probably broken or something lol

Waste of riding 320km if it doesn't work or if it's fake.

Decided not to buy it since I already have a laptop that can do all that the desktop can do, and I got a PS3 and a XBOX360...

So I'll be saving 450 euro and a 320km trip.

I would of bought that in a second, honestly. If you know the guy personally than I'm sure it would be trust worthy, maybe he needs some quick cash and wanted to sell a spare PC he had? The validity I won't judge.

But really, the distance isn't far. 160 km's is about 2 hrs of driving, although probably 3 if your not going via a highway. You could of made a day of it! Take some mates out, get drunk over night, crash in a park and pick up your computer in the morning then drive home. That's what I would have done -nods-

Big ass fanatic if that's a 'spare' pc. Besides if something sound too good to be true it's usually fake so he made the right choice.

Lol, doesn't really matter anymore now. I wont buy it I'll just stick with my laptop for another while. :P I do want it thought, but as alot of people around me say, you would probaly not use it or barely because you always sit on your couch with you're laptop all the time...
