ok.. so today i went to the dmw to take the driving test for my license. It went pretty well and it was easy to pass. During the driving test i notice that the dude wasn't even paying attention to my driving(he just stare out the passenger window at the landscape). after driving around the block he just ask me to do the 3 point turn(I pass it) and then he told me to stop completely, then accelerate as fast as i can to 15 mph and slam on the brakes to see my stopping distance. Thats it!! we went back to the station where i took my picture and got my license.

but i'm still piss that i had to pay 32$ for my license.

Congratz, hmmm maybe I should get a driver's license....

Hell, its practically free where I live. 'Bout 5 bucks a month. Most american hospitals will offer it free or near free.

Most jobs will also give you health insurance for free, i.e Giant Eagle.

cause seems popular here in Hawaii and i want to try it out to drive into college lol

get some cd's, play them and drive at night. so relaxing

lol. i paid ~1300 euros which is about 1700 usd.. the upside is that they actually teach us how to drive

i don't understand how they let kids drive in the US. 1,5 tons of steel and you are allowed to drive it with minimal knowledge how to.

In the netherlands it's about 1600-2000 euro depending on how many lessons you take/need. I failed once so it costed me 500 more... But got it for almost ayear now and have my own car.

Cuz I got my license less than two weeks ago and I paid umh..less than 400 euros? Somewhere else, friends told me I could of paid 100 euros less, but whatevs..

How funny.. they teach you how to drive in the US(At least when taking drivers ED in highschool), but no one listens. I'll be honest I didn't pay attention to it either, but it's been a few years no accidents, no tickets(Well besides the god damn seat belt), and so on. It isn't hard driving. It's how you drive and how others drive around you.

If I'm texting and driving I'm asking to slam the car into something. If I'm multitasking I'm losing reaction time. And so on..

You understand what I'm saying? The information is given to us, but there are many many people that choose to ignore it and think they're god at driving. Herp derp ima go 60 in a 30 and slam into the car because I is pro drivar

Yup, it's a whole different test.

Here in Oregon it's just a small written/computer test. If you can past the permit test, you can pass that one.

Well when I did it I drove a SUV which was automatic. They talk about manual, but briefly.. at least for me.

Congratulations on passing

I paid $2800 for my drivers license (normal price at Denmark). Just glad I passed the first time so I wouldn't have to pay for more hours.
