Nope, dating is not illegal. Unless you have sex with her, you'll be subjected as "raper" even if she agree to sleep with you or not.

If u'r having sex, it all depends on the country or state u live in. And ofc on the parents of the girl u are dating, cuz they are the ones most likely to sue ur a$$.
(Belgium has a law -> 16y old can have consexual sex, although there a plans of lowering it to 14y)

America has some stupid laws concerning sex.
eg. a streaker gets convicted for sexual harasment/indecent exposion or w/e & becuz of that conviction, he gets on a sex offender list together with rapists & childmolesters...

I don't get why having sex with <14 y old is illegal when it's all about the choice of 2 sides. It's not like one side is forcing other side to have sex or what.

Depends on if they want to try you as an Adult. Pretty much they twist the law cause they think 17 is magically 18 for some reason. It's 18 legally an adult in the USA, but they can get you for crimes that you can be tried as an adult for at 17.. I don't understand.. 17 doesn't mean your 18. if that's the case just make 17 the new legal adult age >.>

Actually a lot of states have staturory rape laws that apply for years under 18.
