I always wondered why do muslims receive 72 virgins when they get to heaven? What is the significance of 72 virgins? Do high priests receieve more than 72 virgins? Do you get less virgins if your a criminal? Do women also receive 72 virgins?or 72 kitchens?
probably similar to how morons interperet myriad as 20,000 in modern biblical translations.

Its just a reference to how you will be rewarded in paradise.. and it does not state anywhere as 72 virgins.. it just says Muslims with good deeds will be rewarded with houris (whose gender or even their form of existence has not been revealed in detail).. no idea where people got the 72 virgin interpretation from but its completely bs

There is no 72 virgins... I have never heard about.. It's not in the Quran or Hades. It was never mentioned any thing about 72 virgins. Check the other site I gave you. And wiki is wrong . Tell any Muslim you know about the 72 virgin and he will laugh at you. lol @ 72 virgins
