so i broke a fin on one of my case fans because i decided to switch it while it was running (i know i was a dumb ass) because i wanted to get better airflow. didn't want to restart because im too busy overclocking my cpu from 2.6 to almost 3.2 :D

but yea will super glue help? it snapped off really close to the center D: was planning to get a new fan anyways but still.

Unless it doesn't hold and it turns your fan into a mutalisk and your computer's insides into a mineral line.

Or, turns into Rambo with a 50 cal and your computer into a bunch of Burmese oppressors.

im guessing its plastic, last i checked plastic+superglue=no. i wouldnt do it. i genuinely feel it would be dangerous if it stuck but flew off later. for either you or your pcs internals.

if you dont want to dis assemble your pc, disable your fan, and buy a clip on desk fan and point it at the hole. they REALLY arent too difficult to replace, and its well worth the time.
edit: dispite super glue being super, those little fan spin fast. this produces a good amount of pressure that could cause problems.

its your shit you decide. it may work and i may be ignorant. look at most of my posts, im pretty ignorant :)

Fans are balanced...you add weight to one blade and it will shake itself to death.

Similar thing happened to me when I was around 16 (so not the brightest mind around) and decided melting it back on would be the best solution, I know genius in the making right? Worked fine for a few days till it finally gave way and launched straight into my face...had the case open like a moron because I was under the impression it would cool my computer down.

So, yeah, I guess what I'm trying to say is get a new fan. Or melt it back on! :sohappy:

Just buy a new fan there very cheap.

OR, if you have some old PC's lying around, I assume you could scrounge a fan outta there and use it.

Not in the case of a $2 plastic fan.

I have a broken blade on one of my case fans and I leave it running all the time. No shakes, no noise, no problem.
