Hmm...seems too good to be true, but if that comes out I am definitely going to buy it if it's actually that cheap.

I'm not surprised actually. Since that guy is trying to release it without any profits. If they manage to make it to $10 I could since this in schools easily.

looks more like a tablet / cheaper ipad then a laptop but kudos to them for creating something for the less fortunate children.

Only misleading thing about this is the fact he mentioned M$... If they have anything to do with it,someone is going to have to pay a hefty fee, and it sure as hell won't be M$.

I doubt it will be available for everyone's personal use, It would have to have restricted rights to the children that are most in need, otherwise everyone in the world would have one, even right now, at 35$

Actually MS has done a lot of charitable things.

Its a tablet I saw this a while back, makes sense no profit and India you can get things done cheaper so $35 is possible.

Android is not a computer OS. You can call that a tablet, but not a computer.

The lack of educational apps will kill this thing in schools. $35 will get you shit hardware no matter how many slaves you have working to build these. Imagine a smartphone OS on a 15 year old computer.
