Last night my dad told me to change the trash can. While I was in the process of tieing it up I accidentally cut my finger by an open sardine can in the trash. Yes, it was a pretty deep cut. I told my mom to get the bandages.. As she was getting it I start to feel dizzy and lean at the kitchen table. Then felt like a bag of ice would make things better... So I went to the freezer fridge... But there were no ice. My mom saw me and knew something was wrong. I then collapse to the floor with my grip still on the fridge handle.. So the fridge went down with me. Lucky I fell beside the sink so the fridge landed on the sink instead on top of me. I then black out and lost my vision which scare the heck out of me. My mom and dad rush in and walk me to the sofa and lay me there.. They then gave me like 2 glass of water and bandage my cut up. At that point I open my eyes and only saw pitch black and my heart was beating fast.. So I thought that I might not make it. My mom was soo scare... But she had also went through this fainted process weeks ago.. So She knew what to do. They then told me to relax and try to breathe and so I did. After that I then start to regain my vision alittle and can see the outline of my mom standing next to me. That gave me hope. Few minutes later I can see in colors again and regain my full vision back. I just wanted to shared this experience with you all and this had change me alot.

yeah, I must have inherit it from my mother and so are my sisters and brother. after i saw the cut... my brain start feeling dizzy and it shuted down on me while i fell down.. I don't know why it happend, because it had never happend before from my other cuts. and my siblings had similar stories. yeah the fridge is pack with frozen meat in zip bags and a bunch of other foods.

Its not uncommon for people to get light headed or even faint at the site of what the believe to be a lot of blood. Mostly happens with women... but a lot of guys do it... child birth is usually the cause.

I don't know about you but I would have called an ambulance after losing vision and blacking out...

same exact thought. there could be long term repercussions if it was that serious, a cut shouldn't do that lol. it could show something serious... especially if it's genetic, like you said your mom experienced something similar?

Was more mental than it probably was the loss of blood.

He said he cut his finger. There have been ppl that have gotten their fingers cut clean off and never passed out.

If it's a family thing, it's probably just the common faint at the sight of blood. Happens. Now if no one in his family ever had this happen to them, than he's screwed.

I did a ganor flip and hit my face. I didn't pass out buy I was really dizzy and shit. I just wanted to shared this experience with you all and this had change me alot.

I have had many cuts before and didnt faint. This was my 1st time and it surely was unpleasant.

my brother gets light headed after the doctors take some blood but that's because his blood pressure is low enough that any loss of blood means a lot.

did the fridge die?

I have cut myself so bad I felt like throwing up and passing out at work, but these aren't no sardine can cuts. Although I imagine those little fuckers will go deep.

Completed flip 5/6 of the way, or close to that. Looked like someone punched my left cheek. Low diving board made it tough to do.

A lot of people black out from the lose of blood, I have done several times. It is scary, if it ever happens again, just sit on the floor and put your head between your legs. If you do, pass out, you wouldn't have far to fall.

Depends on how big the wound is. If it's 3cm or more I would def go to the doc if it gets infected and all.

(Note: haven't been to the doc in 8+ years now)

It might be an idea to get it checked out with a doctor, it might be/get infected. Especially cutting it on something that is already dirty.
