I'm making a list of Science/Technology Sci/Fi etc type movies to watch and wanted to know if anyone had any further suggestions. If not maybe my list will be useful to others.
-Pandorum -Event Horizon -Pi -Sunshine -Donnie Darko -Hackers -Hackers Wanted (doc) -Primer -iRobot -Contact -2001: A Space Odyssey -The Core -Dark City -The fountain
The more mind bending, mind blowing, etc..the better. Even if it isn't 'sciency', if it's a real mind bender, post it.
Go!

INCEPTION. Even if it's not your type of movie, you'll enjoy it for the amount thinking it makes you do.

Just watch the Second Renaissance 1&2. It doesn't have a main character with a story that revolves around him/her, like what most animes are. It is a short film after all. It's basically the history of the matrix. And since you're planning to see iRobot, note the similarities.

Alright, I'll give it a shot. I just watched iRobot last night, so perfect timing. Sunshine is on the viewing list tonight, I'm really looking forward to it.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll update my list soon.
Just finished Sunshine. I thought it was really, really good.
So as not to sound retarded, when he says "reignite the sun", they basically mean start a new sun within the sun by means of a fusion reaction/reactor. When I first watched the trailer and heard him say that I was like "wtf, this is going to be science trash". Not so. Although some of it is exaggerated.

I find it odd you have Pi on there, but not Requiem for a Dream. Any reason in particular?
For whatever reason, Requiem for A Dream.

Because I've seen it.
Should have been more clear in my OP, I'm making a list of movies that I want to see. I guess I could make an "Ultimate list of sci/fi/tech/mindblown Movies". We'll see.

Ah, fair enough. I dunno, I'm picky with my movies. Not many really stand out lately.
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within was pretty cool. Blindess was alright. One of those movies that makes you think "what if this happened?"

Paprika if animated movies are ok. Plot will remind you of a certain popular movie these days =P.
