Lots of electrical devices produce radiation, but it's the range that is important.

radiation is the emitting electromagnetic energy, most of you should know this. Anything the communicates wireless today emits some amount of radiation. The sun is expected to be a catalyst to evolution because of its radiation levels. It can lead to bad, and maybe sometime good changes in organisms. Cellphone radiation though is and should be nothing to worry about, you get more radiation from the sun in a day, than you do using a cellphone 24/7 all of your life. The media uses this to an attempt to control certain areas.

thats just knowledge over the years, i believe that cellphone radiation is less dangerous than eating a carrot, so until I get brain cancer, I'll consider this to be true, until someone can give me accurate radiation levels not contaminated by other stuff like in the past, then I can believe you, but until I'm sticking with the knowledge I grew up with

mobile phones emitt radiation since the connection is 2-way.

Of course you are bound to catch some damage after standing next to a mobile phone tower, but that radiation is normally non-ionizing (the counterpart (ionizing) being x-rays etc.) since it is around the microwave range, and in comparatively small amounts from mobiles.

And the studies are not that long term yet, since the brain tumour increase was in the mid 90s

Maybe if you pack 20 cell phones in your belt and have them constantly connected to another phone, then you'll maybe get hurt. Otherwise, no. It's all about the concentration of the radiation. As pointed out before, the sun and many, many other things give off more radiation than cell phones, yet we aren't being screamed at to not use microwaves or have x-rays taken at the doctors are we?! Nope, just a tool used to scare people, seems to be a big thing these days.

i believe the numbers were, if you had a cellphone constantly on 24/7, right next to your ear, for something like 10 years, you have a chance of developing a brain tumor.

Well the cellphone popcorn trick is obviously fake. Even a 1000w microwave would take longer to do so, then you have these low power cellphone trying? If it'd work you could put your finger there and feel heat
