Never realized how much money I am wasting.
I can pay $10 extra for a package with 90GB.
These are charges JUST FOR BANDWIDTH

Only charges you a max of 50$ though
the 95 gb package is the one I upgraded to. I had 60GB so I called them and said 'bell offers 40gb for 5$' so they gave me the 95 cap package (also makes your upload 1mbit) for 3$ more than what I was paying.
Shit still sucks compared to teksavvy. If you're in or near toronto..

I want to upgrade to ultimate @ 99,99 or Extreme plus at 69,99 but it would mean getting a new modem. I don't feel like going through the hassle. If I could just pick it up and replace the one I have myself I would be happy.

Wow I have a horrible feeling the greedy US companies will soon begin to do this. I really hope not I enjoy my free no download limit. Although I don't think I have ever downloaded more then even 10 gig in a month's time.

They won't. The reason it happens in Canada is because there are only 2~ major companies that control many services (internet, phone, cable, cellphones). Soon enough they'll stop..What's the point of 25 mbits down when you only have a 60GB cap...

Shaw is so much better. Great rates for Unlimited Net packages.

90 GB isn't really all that much to download. I think youtube vids or whatever are already like, what.. 20mb?
If you watch 10 youtube clips a day that's like 6 GB a month just from some simple youtubing. Combine that with torrents or steam game downloads and you'll get to 90 GB easily.
If I check my logs I get:

That's almost 8 GB in 2 days. So I'd be on 120 GB for the entire month. I don't even know what I did to DL that 8 GB

i recently moved from toronto to vancouver and moved in with a buddy who has shaw. I had sympatico in toronto same speeds. But damn does shaw ever feel slow. And im pretty sure the new plans like the one im on has a cap.
although the speed here is 7.5mb and i have a 75 gig cap for 20 bucks a month. Its not unlimited wow i didn't know toronto sucked so much :S good luck getting that type of plan in toronto.

They didn't contact you for a promo? Rogers saw that I kept going over my limit for the past like 4 months and they offered me the 90GB tier for only 3$ more for 3 months lol.
