Windows ® installer has stopped working.

This happens every time I try to install anything. :banghead:

Windows could not start the Windows Installer service on Local Computer.

Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

Tried starting it and I got this ^

Help?

Make sure the "Windows modules installer" service is not disabled.
Log on as an Administrator -
Start button || Control Panel ||System and Maintenance ||Administrative Tools
Double-click Services
(Provide the Administrator password or confirmation if prompted to do so.)
Right-click the "Windows Modules Installer" service, and select Properties.
Select General tab - make sure that Startup type is Manual.

BTW google is your friend.

-_-
I've googled every single thing still haven't fixed.
I've also tried almost all solutions excluding ones that involve restarting (will do those later).

It can be locked as I solved it already, thanks for the help but none of that worked.
