so i got this shit and for some Farking reason no button to disable it does any1 knows any 3rd party program to disable cuz win7 keep enabling it after i rr pc? Ideas? Thx in advance

Win7 should auto install a lesser driver to compensate. Did for me.

Sounds like you should reinstall the proper driver from your manufacturers website. Should have a disable hotkey.

disable the hardware nothing beats that xD

Go to control panels. Mouse properties. Set it so that the touchpad is auto-off when a usb mouse is plugged in. Or just set it to not start on startup.

Tried, had to instal 3rd party program to have hotkey just to disable that stupid thing.

What's the problem with it being on? I have it on all the time too and it's not causing any trouble for me o.O

It's annoying cuz it's not in middle (as many models) + bothers on playin aion

Yeah i understand why it would be annoying. Sometimes my mouse shoots across the screen cuz my palm touches the pad.

N it's even worse when your typing, and the dash actually selects a chunk of text, and since you keep typing it gets replaced.

It's pretty annoying actualy. I have the new hp dv7, and their new touchpad is all touch, no clicky. So when u touch the clicky part to click, if you do it too fast, it will shoot the mouse across the screen since it thinks ur moving the mouse, not clicking. Looks sexy, but a fail design imo.

- disable its icon in the task bar
- disable its auto launch in msconfig>startup, startup folder, etc...

haha got used to having my palms around it...

Though when using a PC I totally have to get used to using a mouse again...

But srsly. Live with it. It annoyed the **** outta me at first too, but my hands have just shaped around it so I won't touch it anymore.... xD

The thing that DOES keep bothering me is that the right side of the touchpad makes things annoying when browsing..
My screen scrollin up and down, windows going down and up or changing sizes.. shit happens all the time cuz I try to click with the right side...

Your latop already has a functionalty... Look at the FN button.. make a foto of you keyboard i till you how.

Solved dude, you have to get 3rd party program to disable it...
