I use this sometimes on my iPod. (There's an app for it on Cydia)

I came across an article a few weeks ago about free VIP for Grooveshark for old Lala members since Lala closed after Apple acquired them. With VIP you can listen to unlimited songs on mobile devices, which is why I got it in the first place. You don't need to provide proof that you were a member of Lala to sign up for it though.

Well, Last.fm is more of a recommendation service, like Pandora radio or something. Grooveshark is more of an online music library for streaming songs of your choice. Think a web-based Spotify or Rdio.

The website looks awesome but I never understand the point of those website. How is it different than listening to music on YouTube?

Try it out, and you will notice the differences quite fast.

this isnt a necro. actual content was added to the convo, and it is still relavant. its better to do this than make a whole new thread about something thats already here. i guess the same could be said about all the religous threads.
