So...are any of you good cooks? I really like chipotle, but $7 a day is not affordable, nor responsible living for a college kid. So I was thinking of making my own chicken a la chipotle at home.
Try this easy grilled chicken and see if you think it tastes like the real thing!
or so it says.
Anyway, I'm a shabby cook just for the fact that I don't do it much at all, I can make pasta and meatballs and the like, and occasionally the omelet and some fries. I'm thinking of going out and getting some of the ingredients for it.
What do you pros think? Good recipe?

Well 'Knorr' is an A-brand so it's going to be moderately expensive still. Should probably try to find the store brand or cheaper version, but that's me being Dutch. But there should be nothing out of your capabilities as a cook, it's basically baking an omelet with more ingredients.

Yea, I didn't know what it was at first, and I checked. The site I gave actually carries that brand and sells it for $30.

I think I'll forgo that particular brand for something else.

Gotta realize that the recipe only calls for 2 cubes, maybe there's a lot of cubes in the package. But spending $30 on something that you haven't tried yet can turn into a bad buy.
