As some of you may know, my studies involve international tourism. And I am quite fascinated in what my fellow SRF members are going to do on their holidays, as it is coming up soon.

So, share your holiday plans!

ARE you even going on a holiday or will you stay put and just enjoy your summer/winter at home/job and make the best of it there?

if you're going on a holiday, are you going to:

- The Beach?
- The Mountains?
- Visit one or more big cities(domestic or neighbouring country/state)?
- An other continent?
- Camping?

Did you decide yourself on going or are you just dragged along hoping it will be at least A BIT fun?

Where would you really like to go? (if it's not where you're going this year already, the destination of your dreams but way too expensive for you...)

What will you be doing there?

I will stay home this year and make some money, go for my driver's licence, pick out a place for my internship next year, (november - April, hoping for a place in Antwerp)

For a European one? Definitely the first one.

Yes.. but is this so hard? Can't you think of something that you enjoyed yourself, or that you would imagine enjoying yourself?
If it's reasons that you want, you can just think of them yourself. People don't really go to Barcelona to go hiking now do they?
Considering you're an "intellectual" I don't think this should give you so much problems.

I will stay here this year, but I'd really like to take a holiday for a few weeks and travel through China/Japan/South Korea.
Or just visit a lot of European cities in a row! (Dublin, London, Paris, Madrid, Lisbon, Rome, Berlin, Warsaw, Mink, Moscow, Helsinki, Stockholm, Oslo, Vienna, Athena, Istanbul, Ankara, Budapest, Prague, Kiev, Bratislava, Tbilisi, Tallinn, Riga, Tirana, Andorra la Vella, Yerevan, Baku, Brussels, Sarajevo, Zagreb, Sofia, Bucharest, Nicosia, Reykjavik, Maastricht, Rome, Astana, Vaduz, Luxembourg, Skopje, Valletta, Chisinau, Monaco, Podgorica, San Marino, Bern, Ljubljana, Belgrade, Vatican city not in this order, bus yeah, I wanna visit all 50 European capitals before the end of my life, but... I know it won't happen....)

And sniff come culture.. also wanna visit Colombia..

beach - sun - swimmming pool - club - free drinks - hot chicks.

I don't go on vacations, I work at my town's tourists trap, so I work when everyone else goes on trips.

But if I did go on a vacation it would be to visit historical and interesting places....I guess that would fit the last category?
