I wanna format my laptop, I've done this like 100 times atleast so I know what im doing, and its really easy.
So I did like evry time, insert disk, restarted pc and then "press any key to boot from cd" like many times before.
But this time I got weird error saying a5tt816d.sys is missing cant continue setup press any key to restart.
So I thought its maybe something wrong with cd, havent used it for like 2-3 months.
I downloaded Windows xp sp3 burned it and tryed again, and again same error :?

Any ideas what causing this?

your disk is corrupted, or maybe some boot sector file is corrupted id guess. try typing "a5tt816d.sys" into google and see what it brings up.

Yes. But I used first one few times already, and worked without problems.

it could be the drive not reading propperly. it could be that there is a portion of your had that is corrupt, and when something copies there from the disk it isnt readable. it could be a good number of things.

Try CD on different PC. If it works you know it's your laptop. If not you know it's the CD/version you downloaded.
