The truth is, it is not a plain fan made video but a test video shot for Warner Bros to get funding for a full blown hard “R” Mortal Kombat movie. Reading on what Latino Review has to say we found out that the Mortal Kombat Rebirth video was directed by Kevin Tancharoen.

where's the other girls, I've always only liked MK just for the girl characters, my fav is Syndel. They better make the girls fight, and long fight scenes, not some shit scenes where they do 1 kick, or just 1 scream of explosive diarrhea skills to destroy mountains.

Seems better than the other MK movies. It's just too bad that the world is going to end before the movie is released.

If this had a different title, it might be cool. But it's ridiculous that they are trying to turn fantasy into reality. That was the thrill of MK.. the fantasy. A fat Shang Tsung? Doesn't suck out people souls? crappy.. a cheesy grappling hook from scorpion that looks terrible? I wonder what they would have sub zero do.. use liquid nitrogen? No Raiden? Barraka is now a crazy dude with fake knives? There's a whole race of ppl like him... Scorpion is a good guy now?

Watched it, and my eyes had sexy time with my brain.

Paused it when they Flashed sub Zero, epic.

I still dont know why they woudlnt make this into a move, the "Trailer" is full of known Hollywood Actors.
