I find it a bit pathetic that the scientists keep searching for water-based life forms. Not the whole universe is dependant on water. maybe there are already aliens, but they don't need water and look like rocks or sand or something.

They keep looking for the obvious. the type of aliens from movies. cute bigheads that want to phone home, sceptic bigheads with a drinking and smoking problem or big, slimy scary human eaters. shit could be so much easier if they would just see that rocks could one day take over the planet!
