I used to spend 5 hours a day or more on the internet. Playing SRO, browsing FB or just w/e. The thing that helped me was to realize that everything we do here, on the internet, anonymously on a forum, game, or whatever, does absolutely nothing to enhance our lives. Sure we have a good laugh here and there. But is that really worth all the hours you spend on the internet? When your old in gray do you honestly think you'll be proud of the way you wasted your life?

I don't give a **** about what people think I should be doing with my days. I enjoy myself no matter what I do, whether it's fapping on the PC or doing something outside. I'll just do what I feel like.
When I look back when I'm "old and gray" I'll be glad I spent my days in the exact way I pleased to do. It's Farking bullshit that being on the PC for a long time has such a negative connotation. If I read books all day shit would be all fine, but god forbid I spend my days having fun in front of a PC.
Having to defend yourself for something that you enjoy is just bullshit, it stops really being enjoyable when you have to do that.

Find a sport to play and you'll want to keep playing that sport and not go on the internet.

Yeah everyone bashes on PC and gaming atm and thinks that it's a "bad hobby", fuck that, like someone else already said here, as long as you're having fun there's nothing wrong with it...

Now if you don't like enjoying it, that's a different thing, I feel the same way, you just need to try and balance things, I still enjoy just browsing the internet alot but not as bad as I did a couple years ago.
