just to get a feel for the community here in OTL, vote for the race that best fits your description, based on the Wikipedia Standards. The Image there should help. You're welcome to be more specific than these 8 generic categories by posting your specific ethnicity.
This isn't meant to be racist in any way, so please don't turn this into a flame fest. This is merely for informational purposes.
EDIT: I myself am personally Indian, which falls under the Caucasoid category.

Except that, aside from Aborigonals/Native Americans, all of the USA/Aus comes from europe originaly.

Nordic Caucasian.
I understand Caucasian in this context doesn't mean the skin color, but the grouping based on physiological connections (to the peoples of the Caucasus region), and that's why Iran, India and the like are included.

lumping people together as "white" is not the same as lumping people together as "chinese". You don't lump all white people as "british" do you?

lumping people together as "white" is not the same as lumping people together as "chinese". You don't lump all white people as "british" do you?
"you're all the same anyway" is what I was referring to. I am aware Asians have different ethnicities - Vietnamese, Korean, Thai, Japanese, etc. But you're talking about the same thing. Lumping all of them together as "white" instead of German, Polish, Norwegian, etc. Or did I misinterpret your post?
