Fuck that dood. Hawking is about a billion times more inspiring to me. He cant move, he cant talk, but he views his situation as a blessing. And he does things that further our society on a far greater scale then Nubby McFootface here.

This guy is an absolute legend. Love his outlook on life, and I don't think I could do what he does every day.
All you internet kids with god complexes saying this guy is nothing compared to hawking are ignorant and obviously missing the point.

What point? That an amputee can still feel good about life? And we should shut out mouths because he does?
People can still have legitimate reasons to be upset about their lives. You don't need to be missing your arms and legs to have problems.

The point that life is always worth living, and that you can always something good from something bad. You can't seriously be thinking that he's making the video just to say, OH IM LIMBLESS, BUT IM NOT COMPLAINING And I do expect people to shut their mouths if they're saying this guy is not registering on any scale like Hawking. As incredible as Hawking is, he's felt, he's moved his arms, he's done so much this guy has lived without, not to mention having a fully functional body for a large amount of time.

That's not at all the point that he was trying to put forward. What he is saying is exactly that, you have reasons in life to be Upset. You have reasons in life to feel down, but that there will always be a getting back up.
I dont want anyone to feel like they should suck it up and stop complaining, i just thought, personally, that this guy was trully inspiring in his personal overcoming of his disabilities, and his outlook on life.
It inspires me to be a bit more positive when i can, and i thought some of you might like to see it.

No, I detest the type of thing that he does because he's proselytizing. I question the geniality of his efforts because he is a hardcore evangelist and believes he's under divine instruction to do what he does. He takes advantage of his unique disability to convert people. This is NOT inspirational. This is exploiting people's emotions for the purpose of getting them to believe in his god. He travels around saying the purpose which he talks about can only be acheived if you believe in God, more specifically, his Christian God. This is not admirable in any way in my book. You do not bring up people's hopes and emotions and then let them know its all meaningless unless they believe in his sky wizard. That's detestable.
Nick is a normal individual living with unique circumstances. There is nothing special I find about this either. He was BORN with no limbs, so he has no prior knowledge of actually having that sensory perception from using hands or feet. Stephen Hawking was born with full functioning limbs and his disease snatched them away from him. Hawking knew what it felt like to walk or touch. Or speak. He can no longer do any of that but he continues being productive, and more importantly, does NOT proselytize.
If you want to project your own insecurities onto that guy, be my guest. And if you're going to ask me or anyone else to shut up about their opinions, the least you could do is get informed about what it is you're arguing for. Ignorance is not an excuse.

I totally agree, I hate evangelism and all that stuff. But, you have to understand, just because he wasn't born without sensory perception, doesn't mean he can't think about, or imagine how it feels. Just because the message he preaches is trying to convert people as a possible intention (which I agree is detestable) let's not look at the motives for just one second. He is telling people to get back up, and all good things like that. Which is a good point. I mean everything you are saying makes sense, but it is very negative, and I do agree however that the proselytizing is pretty idiotic.
