Just go to your local Best Buy and get a Samsung 40" 1080p LCD tv

Watsup with that new samsung 3D TV that you see all the time on commercials?

I'd suggest the Sony BRAVIA full HD. We got one and it's really a nice TV.

As for the 3D, with a budget of $2000 you won't get a 3D TV. Those things are are really expensive.

Yea I wouldn't really recommend a 3D TV, unless you have over 2,500 dollar to spend.

LCD is better then plasma because LCD saves more energy so less energy costs. LED is even better then that and has waay more clearer image. So I recommend LED if you can afford is, they are like 1000 euro here for a 50 inch I think.

Got a Samsung 32" Full HD in my room, same one but 37" in the living room...Both work great and they're like 400-600 euro only so 40" would be 1k max I guess.

Yep that looks like ours just one size bigger again =p Good buy IMO, Samsung rocks.

Go look at the LCD panel manufacturer if you can. Best Buy's brand uses Mitsubishi sometimes Philips and Samsung (rare, supposedly) for a cheaper price, same panel. Difference may just be the tuner or the sound, but hella cheaper.

I'd say get a Sony, but as much as I love Sony I wouldn't pay a few hundred more for the same thing. It's the same for every other size as well.
