So,
A friend of mine is building a Server Computer, and his price range is about 1000, but we dont know if there needs to be a lot of special things for Server computers.
So any help that you guys can give would be awesome.

depends what you wanna do but ram and hdd space id put top prior network card goes without saying really seeing as you need that added bit of speed you get from a dedicated card but you can turn a normal comp into a server if you wanted

Well he is big into the clan"ing" in MW2 and BFBC2. So he will be hosting for BFBC2 and Black Ops when it comes out since it will have Dedicated PC servers.
He will be hosting in Canada, and most clan members are either Canadian or US.
