Yep, losing one sense will boost other sense. But this case is extraordinary.
If he loses another sense, then maybe yes, he could sense ghost.

Yea, take away his smell and hearing and feeling too, hell be the ultimate being.
I know what echo location is and stuff, but how does that allow him to play a DS?
