looking for cheap laptop

Next year I'll be in Norway so I'm gonna need a laptop. I'm not looking for a real gaming laptop, but I'd still like to be able to play Quake/CS 1.6 and maybe cod1. So old games only.
Also looking for reasonable storage space, but I can also just buy an external hard drive.
I really have no clue about laptops, the strange processors they come with or everything else really. I was hoping anyone would know a reasonably priced (read: cheap) laptop that would fit those requirements?
It doesn't have to be anything special. It can be heavy, ugly and whatnot. It just has to be able to play some old games. Preferably no Compaq or similar low quality brands.
I'm not sure if this is realistic, but I was hoping to spend somewhere near 350 euro (~ $430, fu
cking Greek noobs

)
I'd also consider getting a used laptop, but that's a last resort.

If you're wanting to play massive Ram munching games like sro, you would be better off buying a PC because you won't find a decent gaming laptop for the budget you're looking at. Anyway you should probably be some research on laptop specs before you actually go out and buy one. You don't want to be buying a shitty laptop that won't carry out what you need it to. I would recommend at least 4GB Ram, 250GB HD, and a decent processor with 1.9Ghz+.
I just ordered this a few hours ago. A little above your budget but it's pretty decent for the price. I was also looking for laptops around the budget that you are on, but I spend just a few more $$ to get a laptop with much better specs.

I don't want to play massive RAM munching programs/games (I don't play SRO). And I already have a good desktop.
I'm going to Norway and I can't take my desktop with me, which is just fine. Sometimes I just want to play a simple game (Quake, CS 1.6) and that's it. Looking for a cheap laptop that can handle those outdated non ram munching games.

Don't buy a cheap laptop (duurkoop).. you move it a lot so a solide laptop will do fine. I recommend Dell..

I just bought one like that yesterday, same price, except it has 4GB Ram instead of 3, 4 USB Ports, and a 1.3 Webcam. To OP, check the Acer Aspire 5542.
