Hey guys I just got a HP TouchSmart 600 and I just got some questions.
Here are the specs-http://reviews.cnet.com/desktops/hp-touchsmart-600/4507-3118_7-33775796.html?tag=psum

I was just wondering if i could play Crysis.
Also would it be possible for you to change the graphics card?
Thanks in advance

Should be able to play it on low maybe medium settings..Ofc with AA off. Changing the card would be tricky. I'm not sure if that's a single or dual slot card..among other things. It'd probably be as hard as taking apart a laptop =\

Try this site:

It's not VERY accurate. But usually if it says you can, you should be able to, even if that means lowest settings.

After seeing the specs of the laptop, I think it can.

Depends on what the inside looks like.

Looks like space is at a premium in that thing. I don't know how easily it would be to get to and replace the gpu. May even void the warranty if you crack that thing open.

What do you mean 'plugin graphics card'? The PCI-E slot is on the motherboard, inside the case.. for this pc that means the monitor. From what I've seen search GT230m on youtube and review sites, crysis should play fine. If anything, your cpu will limit you more than the card.

We're talking about this correct?:

External graphics cards are much, much worse than what you have in there already.

would be hard to find a good graphics card for such a small space. probably would need to be low profile type of a card too. plus think about it this way its going to over heat like a bich.

You wont be able to upgrade this PC that much except maybe for RAM. I actually had 2 HP Desktops and will never ever buy another HP again. Its better to build your own PC rather than buy the over the counter mass produced name brand ones. They're crap. The company gets huge deals on generic parts and dump those crappy parts into an eye catching designer shell/case.

HP = HORSE PILE
