I'm also going to get a new phone during the summer. What full querty keyboard phone would SRF get if they had a choice? I'm looking at the BB Bold with the trackpad atm.

HTC Touch pro 2 QWERTY
I have a qwerty phone without touch atm, its nice, but looking back i'dd have preferred to have a bigger screen, touch if needed, you do not need to use the touch to type anyhow.
HTC's have nice keyboards aswell my keyboard heavely owns my friends nokia e75 keyboard for example:)

Mhmm, in The Netherlands Telfort also offers the HTC touch pro 2 qwerty.
So its not like verzion is the only one to be able to offer it with a contract like with the LG env series etc.
Check your providers again i guess, you might get lucky ^^
The one you chose, the pantech impact isnt bad either though, its quite similar to the LG env's in a way, i like it ^__^

Why not use a real phone.
Spoiler!
Cheap, durable, one charge lasts for a week or three.

That looks pretty ok. I still prefer a qwerty keyboard with it though, and i always have to test touch phones first, because some simply 'do work' while others just 'dont' lol ^^

AT&T iPhone. I kept in mind the part that you don't like touch screens. Still iPhone.

They do have it for AT&T, it's just got a different name.
@Miro, to it's defense, its not as bad as it looks.
That was actually a really good article. I've tested it out in the store and I love the keyboard on it. I didn't get too in depth with how the phone works though. Next time I go into the Verizon store I'll have to test the Droid and Devour more thoroughly.
Also, I currently have
The detachable keyboard is ridiculously bulky and annoying to carry around. I want to upgrade to a sleeker, more convenient keyboard phone.

@curve Yea, if your going to have a data plan def go with something like the Droid or the Incredible. If you're dead set on having the Blur experience, then Devour's your phone. It did seem a little janky at best buy. Big thing is, with the Devour, you won't be on the edge of the Android updates. Actually, the way Android is moving right now the Incredible is prolly the most forward looking phone. Bad news: no physical keyboard, the only reason I would not buy it. The Pre Plus has a few issues and the keyboard is a little awkward. Blackberry's have awesome keyboards and BBM is desirable, but the browser sucks. I could go on, but eventually it's just a personal decision.
