Broken Leg

I recently just broke my leg playing soccer, and I only have a half cast on at the moment (coz of the stiches when they put a rod into my leg), and will hopefully be getting the full one this Friday.
Just wondering if anyone has had the same problem, coz I wanna know if the full cast will go over my knee so that it stops my leg from moving completely, or stop just below my knee. I don't want it to go over my knee, sleeping is already a bitch .. don't want it any worse lol.
Here are the Xrays .. just for luls. Luckily it was such a clean break. Didn't look too good bending in the middle of my shin.

Cheers nig, I do aswell lol. Going to school is real gay lol, but I'm out of any sports for like 5 months ...

Surprisingly, it didn't hurt as much as I thought it did. It just felt like a bruised shin like something hard hit my shin, and I couldn't put any weight on it, so I tippytoed to get off the field, took 1 step and looked down saw it bend, then fell on the floor lol.

Ouch that sucks.
Back when I broke my arm, I had many discussions with a friend about what would be more annoying, a broken arm or a broken leg. We decided arm wins, since you use that alot more than your leg as a gamer
So anyway, that looks painful as **** :X When I broke my arm it looked exactly the same, plus a spiral fracture on one of the bones, above the fracture. And oh man did that hurt...
They put me on an IV, and had to ram a pill up my ass for the pain
EDIT: Yeah, when you see it out of natural shape it hits you
I remember that, I fainted lol.

sucks, a couple weeks ago i broke my wrist, had to wear A full cast cuz it got dislocated. couldnt play soccer for 4 weeks till they put a smaller cast, and still, taking a shower was a bitch. now i have a half arm splint =_=
so if your leg got dislocated, then theyll put a full cast for support (i think)
btw, breaking your arm is much better than your leg cuz u need those supports evrywhere u go, esp at school. i sprained my ankle and that week was worse than my 6 weeks in a cast

But when you break your leg you lose almost all of your mobility. You can do a lot more with a broken arm. I'd definitely prefer arm over leg.

I knew a guy back in middle school who broke both his wrists from skateboarding and they casted him so that he couldn't move his elbows like C-3PO

It reminds me of when I broke my arm. It was all twisted and when I saw it I was like WTF and I started breathing hard and it was hurting a ****ing lot. the xrays were a lot like the ones on ur leg, but in my forearm
. at least it was a clean cut, and there were no splinters and stuff. I also remembered how hard it was to take a shower xD. I had to wrap my arm in a plastic bag and put tape so the water couldnt get in lol. anyways, hope u get better soon cuz I know how annoying it is to have a cast ^^

Since we're going into broken bone stories...
I broke my wrist snowboarding. At first I thought it was just a sprain so I walked over to the first aid building to have it checked out. I was carrying my snowboard with my left and because my right hand was the broken wrist. I slipped on ice walking to the first aid building and used my right hand to brace my fall. Hurt so bad I blacked out.

Trust me Miro, you don't want to break a bone. This was my first time aswell
So yeaahh, should hopefully heal quickly I DON'T want a full cast over my knee.

Ouch, looks painful. I've seen nasty breaks like that when I played football.. guys lower leg was bent in half.. was terrible. Another guy dislocated his hip.. holy shit that was fu.cked up looking.
I broke the base of my thumb playing baseball. Stole home, apparently the batter on our team didn't get the memo, swung at the pitch and hit my hand with the bat. Luckily it wasn't my head.

I've broken my wrist and a toe ( the latter I took care of myself ), neither was painful in any way but with wrist after the cast, when I had to start moving it again some pain did kick in, this lasted for about 15 minutes during the doctor's checking phase.

Went back to the hospital toda, and I got the half cast taken off, and 16 staples taken out. I now am no longer in a cast, but am still on crutches for 6 weeks lol.

one of painful thing that you can brake is ribs and clavicle,
cause those too can't go in gypsum, i broke my rib one time at sparing, and once in hospital they told me to go home and there is nothing they can do about it, so i was suffering 3 weeks of pain, and when i was lil sick so when i cough then i cried of pain..

I broke my nose twice, to far back to remember if it actualy hurt a Real lot.
But a while ago i heavely bruised my middle finger, at first i thought i broke it.
When i went to the doctor's post with it, the guy just took it in his hand, and pulled it, Hard.
Damn was i happy that it wasnt broken, the fker said that 'if it was broken, i'dd probs have screamed out from pain.' xD
What kind of doctor is that, geez.
