Although I really like Chicago and Vancouver, would like to see either win the Western conference.

Joined a Hockey pool(was only 10$ and theres already like 15 ppl) for my first time and I barely know shit about Hockey Just uhm go Habs go?

Philadelphia - New Jersey
Buffalo - Boston
Ottawa - Pittsburgh

... feeling an upset by Los Angeles though

San Jose is going to choke, it's a given. I'm putting my money on Detroit over Phoenix. Ottawa Pittsburgh could go either way.

I actually don't ever see the puck. It's always going too fast. They should introduce a Michael Jackson-like Billie Jean press pad that reacts to the puck so I always know where it is

i personally believe that Ottawa lacks a good goalie but canucks goalie is pretty brutal as well and they've done well so who knows

Chicago should of kept khabibulin for sure tho they jsut got "alright" goalies..

I feel Fleury is a better goalie but I wanted to look up the stats, this is what I got:

lol Niemi is far and away the best goalie the hawks have had in a long time. Khabibulin was absolute shit.

I normally understand most sports because I've played them, but I never understood hockey.. It seems like such a fun sport, but people bash it all the time.

Niemi is alright but he's sorta inconsistent like he let 5 goals in against st.louis but than the next game against colorado he'd play great.. He's definitely better than huet tho

lol playoff experience? maybe. if you want an example of inconsistency you look at nikolai, when he wasnt hurt that is.

I think if you look at those games where Niemi let in 4 or more goals you'll see the majority were high scoring like that. Or they were outliers, in which case you can ignore them.

I'm sorry but baseball is a snooze fest. I can barely stay awake to watch an entire game. I'll watch hockey usually only during the playoffs when it matters.

Baseball is intense if you've played it and understand why it's so slow paced.

Hockey...I have nothing against it, but the Clint Malarchuk/Richard Zednik incidents sort of killed it for me.

baseball is only boring because pitchers have become so fast at throwing its almost impossible for people to hit the balls. If you see the average scores from like 1920 compared to today, baseball games were a lot higher scoring. Back then it was really exciting, thats why it has been a national pastime.
