fixed.

I stopped giving a damn about Filipino politics ever since they revoked my citizenship there. It's 1 incompetent pseudo-democratic leader after another. I mean, "Erap" is running again?! Really?! Didn't they have a massive "people power revolution" just to throw the guy out several years ago?

You have to give up your Filipino citizenship when you undergo naturalization as an American citizen. Well, at least I had to.

The United States doesn't allow for dual or more citizenship.

Meh, haven't read up on citizenship laws in years:

"Rules against dual citizenship still apply to some extent -- at least in theory -- to people who wish to become US citizens via naturalization. The Supreme Court chose to leave in place the requirement that new citizens must renounce their old citizenship during US naturalization. However, in practice, the State Department is no longer doing anything in the vast majority of situations where a new citizen's "old country" refuses to recognize the US renunciation and continues to consider the person's original citizenship to be in effect."

Wasn't Manny Pacquiao running for some sort of government position? If so I'd vote for him.

Yep. My cousin's Canadian girlfriend has dual citizenship - we were talking about it last night actually. I wouldn't mind having dual though just because we still have property in the Philippines =/
