Well I'm not Apple fan for desktop or laptop computers but they Music Player line has satisfied me over the years. Though I don't want to get a oversized iphone, this may be a good buy. And FYI, I <3 PC 4EVER

it's not a phone... It's not a laptop
it doesn't fit in you pocket, and it can't actually do particularly much.
this just seems like a grave mistake from apple.
and they should've called it the iSlate, sounds way cooler

iDont want to buy it thanks. iphone is cool and useful, macbooks are even cooler but both ipod and ipad is useless. You can listen to music on your iPhone, why would you buy a little bit smaller tool for it. Same goes to iPad, if you do have a computer (and not just talking about laptops), why would you buy an iPad. It's flashy that's all. They just had to come up with something new.

we managed to get 10 hours and 43 minutes of life out of the iPad before we had to plug it in again in our first run through

This is the only impressive thing in it.

JUST fking wait till iphone 4g, it got same cpu and better gpu like iPad, and it's smaller with LED screen. iPad is failure.

Apple is creating a new market of whatever this is suppose to be. A new something to fill whatever something in our digital lives is missing.

One of the few good things I really see in this is getting people back into leisure reading again. *crosses fingers*

I would assume eventually they elease an office suite and image editig software. With that, it would do everything I use my laptop for.

I want to buy one to watch movies. Right now I'm watching movies from my iPhone in bed and at work.
