Everytime I try to open a program I get this error message:

"The procedure entry point RegisterClipboazdFormatA could not be located in the dynamic link library USER32.dll"

Anyone know why I get it and how to fix it?

- problem with the file user32.dll, located in windows/system32/
- either the file has error or file missing

fix:
- download the file user32.dll from another pc or internet
- rename user32.dll
- paste that file into system32 folder
- restart pc
- delete old renamed file

Fixed it by doing a system restore, hopefully it wont happen again.

Virus/Trojan is often the first thing people think of. It could also just be a simple corruption that happened when that file was performing a task and got interrupted.

In any case a system restoration should be enough, right?

You used system restore, it restores the default files / anything corrupted. You're good to go.

Or a cosmic bit flip.
