Recently I regained my interest in anime and im trying to look up/remember this 1 space anime. It had lots of ships in space shooting lasers at each other, and thats pretty much it. And also i think there were like 5 fighters that can combine into like a superrobot that destroyed all the spaceships.

I know this is incredibly vague but listing any space anime would help! this is very old, i rememebr watching it when i was little so maybe teh 90s and possibly 80s.

Any suggestions appreciated!

actually I just found out taht Voltron is the adaptation/combination of what i was looking for. sweet thx! I found what i set out to find
