Editor for programming

Post by NuclearSilo »

I'm searching for the best editor (in the meaning of easy to use with visual editing, auto completion, powerful auto suggest code) for AJAX and JQuery.
If you know any editor that match these criteria , suggest me.
Or say what editor you are using.

Eclipse, Textmate, Dreamweaver. Use plugins.

I don't deal with js.. my tools of choice are (java, VB, C++, C#):

Visual Studios, Eclipse, NetBeans, and JCreator.

If you don't want to deal with plugins.. just google "AJAX and JQUERY IDE"...

I haven't tried it, but I recall hearing that Bespin is targeted at web development. I doubt it has auto-completion though.
