Hey Guys, Dunno if this is the right section or not but oh well.
Im building a cheap $700 system just for gaming basically but I got a question about the PSU.
The quote that I have is:

AMD Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition
HIS Radeon HD5770 1GB
Samsung EcoGreen F2 500GB HD502HI
Gigabyte GA-MA785GT-UD3H Motherboard
LG GH22NS50 SATA DVDRW OEM
G.Skill F2-6400CL5S-2GBNT (1x2GB) DDR2

And im tossing up whether or not to buy a 'Thermaltake V3 Black Edition with 450W' Would the power supply cut it or should I search for a 550W PSU??

actually a generic 420 will do, go with what you have, that card zips nothing.

btw I would also consider a build involving the AMD Athlon II X4 630, very cheap and performs well ( don't know how it performs against your current pick, ill let you do the homework ).

forgot to mention but if you are buying from a place like newegg with similar prices I would buy a 4870 over a 5770 but that is your call ( the 4870 has a significant lead at the pricepoint ).

where are you buying these parts from?
my thoughts:

-eco drives blows
-you could get X4 core for $100
-phenom supports ddr3
-since when does samsung sell drives? lol

$700 is cheap?
