How can you guys say that about Gaga? It's all very well to call out T-Pain and Lil Wayne and Soulja Boy for being fake music faggots but Gaga doesnt use synthesizers, Gaga WRITES HER OWN MUSIC, Gaga learnt piano by ear at the age of 4 and She went to one of the most prestigious music schools around.
There's a difference between the fake voices, pumped with millions and her own fortune.
And she's the weirdest, biggest thing right now, I reckon she's a fucken winner.

Bullshit,if you think Gaga is being original then why don't you say the same about T-Pain?
He's the one that made "Auto-tune" mainstream,he came out of the box and brought something special to the game just like her. So why should T-Pain not be respected as much as Gaga?

Personally, I think Auto tune is pathetic, if you cant sing, dont.
However I know nothing about rap so I'm not even doing to go there.
But in a more general scale of things, I'm not saying T-Pain's music is terrible so much as the production of it. My friends have seen him live and they said he was terrible without the auto tune. You cant just throw a bunch of shit on CD that you cant belt out live.
Lady Gaga deserves some real merit for producing, performing and creating the image and music she holds.
T-pain can "bring something new" to mainstream (and if he did bring auto tune to mainstream then I think that's a negative if anything) but Gaga is so much more than that.

Actually there's some video of T-Pain singing without Autotune and he was doing pretty well,anyways this is beside my point.
As you said, Gaga is a great entertainer/perfomer. So if we put aside the "skilled enough to sing", T-Pain also is a great performer.
Sure,Auto-tune doesn't require really good singing but people love to hear it,plus singers/rappers like T-Pain make great use of it. Keep in mind, T-Pain don't use Autotune to not miss any notes while singing,he uses it for the "Robotic effect" people like to hear in Rap/RnB songs.
P.S : Most don't know how to use Autotune, like Lil Wayne.
