So I was looking through GD and saw that a community is building on Iris, so I decided that maybe I should give SRO another try and start over instead of continuing my 95 bower on xian. The problem is that I'm basically at my uni 24/7, and I use a netbook.

The question I'm posing is: do you think I could play SRO on a netbook? It's an ASUS EEE PC 1005ha upgraded with 2 gigs of RAM and has 1.66 Ghz Processor Speed.

i didn't want to spend hella time downloading it only to find out it didn't work

has anyone tried it before? or have an idea about it running or not

Works for me on my Eee PC, Intel Atom 1.6Ghz with 2 Gigs RAM.

Run on low settings, windowed mode, NOT IN POWER SAVING MODE! 1024X resolution, you'll have to go up and down to see ur hp or item/exp bar.

Well if it worked on mine having just 256 mb ati and 1gb ram...

so i tried and downloaded it, and it works perfectly

it gets a little laggy in the cities, but no other complaints, other than the small screen, which i can't help because it's a netbook

I could play sro on high quality with this:

Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.66GHz
Memory: 512MB RAM
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4200 with AGP8X

so you should have no problems...
