Is this wrong?

So the stray Rottweiler attacks some guys Pitbull so he decides to shoot the dog. Seems like an alright thing to do because if they decided to call the authorities then one of the dogs might of ended up dead by the time they got there or one of them might have been too injured to be kept alive. So what are your thoughts?

Well the dog wasn't on a leash and it was attacking people's animals.

Do what you gotta do.

I think I would have honestly tried to grab the rottweiler by his collar and just grip it tightly around his neck.

That poor dog being bitten honestly shakes me up. If I had a gun I would not hestitate to shoot.
I actually felt sad when I saw the rottweiler jump the dog to try and bite it.

I would seriously try and grab the rottweiler in a firm grip.

That was dumb...pulling out a gun in public and shooting a dog. That would be a last resort if i knew my dog was gonna die. Seemed all it did was bite the pitbull...no need to pull out a fkcing gun. Now he has to get questioned by the police and could face charges.

Idk..he was too hasty in bringing out the gun. God knows why he had a gun on him in the first place...
however, based on what we can see in that video, they didnt even try anything else...they just shot it straight away.

I'd honestly like to see you successfully pull that off. Though I can't say if this dog is THAT vicious because I'm not watching this video.

From the looks of what they are, none should own a gun. And hell they probably fought the dogs before or something.

Farking dobermans and pitbulls shouldn't be kept domestically. It's only wannabee gangsters that have these types of dogs anyways.

Rottweilers and Pitt-bulls are very loyal dogs, just because you see one dog's fuckup, that doesn't mean they shouldn't be kept domestically. Rottweilers are playful dogs, but of course you wouldn't know that. What brings you to the assumption that "wanna be" gangsters are the only ones with these type of dogs?

So he can be ready to shoot a dog when that dog attacks his dog. Duh.

My big fucking mistake. Rottweilers are dope. I mistook them for Dobermans. And I pretend to know stuff about dogs :(
Man, that was a big failure. Sorry, was an honest mistake.
My point still stands for pittbulls and Dobermans though.

Depending on the city, that guy might have been arrested for carrying without a permit.

It's not like you're just allowed to carry wherever.

I doubt in any city you are allowed to discharge your firearm in a public street unless you were defending yourself from a life threathening situation. I'm sure his gun permit doesn't give him the right to shoot dogs in a city. He's gonna be in some trouble for sure. What if a bullet bounced off the pavement and hit someone? I've seen on the news people who got killed in that exact manner. Bullets don't always get lodged into the first thing they hit.

I'd probably be kicking at the rottweiler, maybe put the dog on top of a car or something >.>. There was a trashcan there too, could of picked it up to hit the dog with maybe.

It can be pretty scary though when your next to a big dog being aggressive. Been there a few times, including getting bit in the face once ¬.¬.

lol yea, I don't think that'd work.

An old friend of mine had a Rot, and his dad took him to work with him at a shop, and just by taking him outside on a leash he almost got dragged, and thats just from a happy wanting to go outside feeling lol.

My family has owned Rottweilers for year. 6 since I've been alive. None of them have ever been aggressive to people or to other dogs. Stray dogs just go back to their survival instincts and take on the biggest threat to their territory.

Also the guy probably will go to jail for firing that gun. He probably doesn't have a concealed weapons permit and might not even be the legal owner of the gun.
