What is everyone's thoughts on what is probably going to be considered the PS:Wii? :/

PS3 games dont go with this imo

Kills whole Wii concept and it's only an add on.

Dickmote is a terrible idea. If I wanted to play with a Wii I'd go dust mine off, but I don't want to.

March 10, 2010 - Sony finally unveiled its motion controller in full today at its GDC 2010 press conference. Officially called the PlayStation Move, the controller actually has two separate pieces.

I like it, definitely gonna get it when it comes out.

I like innovation as much as the next guy, but I'm not really the move while you game type...

what it comes down to in the end

I just hope this will fail so bad for sony. they deserve it.

It is a blatant copy of the Wii remote but it seems Sony did a better job.

B/ The Wii has been on the market for 2 years? so if Sony wouldn't have better technology they might as well shut down

That's what we call an improvement, it's not a new device. It's a total copy of the wii.

if i can use it in God of War 3.... F**K YEA! that would be sick. Everyone saying it's like Wii, WELL DUH! but see ps3 has more going for it then the Wii, better franchises and better graphics. so you can say it's a copy all you want but it's all about what you play with it.

an improvement is not a copy.

a copy is a device that has the same qualities as the original one.

this one is better than Nintendo's wii, so it's not a copy.

that's like saying that Playstation 3 is a copy of the Playstation 2.

All the consoles have been blatantly copying one another and improving from these copies. So stop these dense arguments. You might as well rant about religion and politics if you want to continue.

Considering Natal is going to be a peripheral for casual games, like the Wii, yes. And because MS wanted to set Natal under the $100 price point, they had to take out its own processor making the 360's processor do all the power which will take away from the resources needed for games to run.

overall this whole motion control thing is just another gimic the system developers are using to sell more systems.

It's funny that you bring Project Natal into the conversion. Remember the playstation Eye? That might have been very limited, but it was first(Well not first first, but Sony beat MS to the point, but MS perfected it) to use your body for the games. Not many games came out for it, because it sucked. So will Natal imo. I just cannot see my family nor friends playing a game like that.

TBH I think it'll turn out to be like the Wii. It'll be just like how the Wii was 'amazing' at first, because it was something brand new that many of us didn't see for gaming. Later on it just gathers dust. I have so many friends that bought the Wii, because it was cool but in the end it just sits there.

Instead of copying off each other they should pull new stuff out their asses already.
